Calorie burn

Hello, I'm a little unsure about calorie burn on my surge. I am a 56 yr old male 5 10 about 220lbs. On my job I am pretty much on my feet for 9 hrs and log about 8 miles during that time. I look army surge several times during the day and I am averaging about 275 cal per hr. By the end of the day's work I burn about 2500 hundred cal during that 9 hr period. Does that seem right? To me it seems a little to good to be true. Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest looking at some other online calculators and inputting in some data (height, weight, etc (at least weight)) and figuring out if the calories match up between the two.
