I did not sleep with my Surge fit bit on last night and woke up to put it on and it says I have burnt over 5000 calories! How come it says this when it was sitting on my dresser all night? Please help. Is there a way I can delete these inaccurate calories burnt or is my fit bit useless now?

Update: I changed the setting for heart rate to auto instead of on and it seems to have fixed the problem.
