Hi
Does anyone know if you can use more than one fitbit on your account? I have switched from a Surge to an Alta HR so that I can wear a watch during the day.
The Alta HR is great but recently ran in a 5k race and missed both my stop watch and gps tracking I had on the surge. If I can switch between the two types of model then I will wear the Surge when necessary and the Alta HR for the majority of the time.
Thanks Gary

You can! I currently have 3 fitbits connected to my account. It works fine but they must be different models of fitbit and I find it better to sync them when swapping. There's a help file on this here:

Hi Steve
That's great thanks for the advice, the Surge is certainly better than the Alta when it comes to a run so I'll use that then and the Alta during the rest of the day.

You should be careful not to sweat too much or expose the Surge to sunlight and humidity. They say that's what causes the bubbling and ultimate separation of the band. Mine had to be replaced after only 9 months so be wary of doing anything too extreme with the Surge. But it does do a nice job of tracking in GPS.

I own three Altas and the time is off on all of them except one. I bought many bands for these and can charge one while wearing another. Anyway I really don’t like the fact that you can only sync different models and not three of the same model. I can never have the right time on all three.
