I was just curious if i could wear my Fitibit Surge while I swim. I would like to track it too.

No, I'm afraid not. It's not waterproof and will break if you do.

 

Besides, if it were waterproof it wouldn't track your swimming very well. You would do better to leave it safe and dry in the locker room and manually log it instead using this procedure:
