Can't connect fitbit charge

I had it connected but had issues with syncing so i deleted it. Now i can't reconnect. When i hold the button the side it just starts a timer. I don't know what to do. Help please.

When holding the button down to restart it, just keep your finger on it until the version number flashes. Sometimes on my Fitbit, I have to hit just the right spot in order for it to restart.

When holding the button down to restart it, just keep your finger on it until the version number flashes. Sometimes on my Fitbit, I have to hit just the right spot in order for it to restart.
