Is it possible to have Fitbit track more than one Surge? I know you can have multiple devices tracked, can they be the same device?

It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community @tseymour1965. There is actually no option to set up more than one Fitbit tracker of the same model. You can have more than one tracker in the same account but they must be different models. If necessary, you can create a second Fitbit account to set up the second tracker.

Same situation here. I have a Fitbit surge in both black & tangerine. I was hoping to swap them out occassionally; one for casual wear & workouts and the other for more formal occassions (it's harder to pull off a black suit for work with an orange wristband). It would be nice to get the ability to have the option to have more than just one of the same tracker added to my account, especially when there's not away to swap the bands. Why is this not an option? Multiple tracker features were added but preventing the addition of duplicate band types seems like an intentional bad decision.
