Cant get my surge options to work

I have a surge that has been reliable for almost 4 yrs. Recently, I cant get any options to pop up. When I push the main button on left, it takes me back and forth from settings to the time. It used to take me to a number of choices, such as running. I track my distance and time during runs. I no longer have this option. Ideas?

Have you tried a restart?

Also 4 years is a long time it could be on its last legs. Mine died at 4 years
