Hi

I have had to down grade my phone today back to an iphone 4 from a six but as my fitbit app was lastest version ios 8. iso 8 wont work on the iphone 4 therefore how can i download an older version of the app so it works correctly.

at the moment the app shows no option to sync once downloaded.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Pippiventures. It's great to have you here. I'm afraid the iPhone 4 is actually not part of the list of supported devices. In order for your Surge to sync directly with your iOS device, your device must support Bluetooth 4.0. Older iOS models like the iPhone 4 only support Bluetooth 2.1, and therefore are not compatible with Fitbit wireless syncing. You are still able to sync with a computer.

Thanks for stopping by, see you around. Smiley Very Happy

Thanks Edson,
I have tried to sync to my laptop too and can't get it to work with the dongle or with the cord. Any suggestions?
Thank you

@Pippiventures In this case I would recommend performing a restart to your Surge by following @Rich_Laue instructions. If you keep experiencing the same problem please reach out the Support team. They might be able to provide further assistance.

Catch you later. Robot LOL
