Hello there my friend, welcome aboard to our Community @Po_doh. I wonder which platform are you using? is it iOS or Android? I found very odd this issue as when you change your units it should give you miles instead of kilometers on your activities.
In my case, I used the android app more often and if you are using an Android too, you need to go to the Dashboard menu (Three lines in the upper corner) and select account. Here there are three dots in the opposite corner in the upper side of the screen that will give you access to your account settings. Once you have access. Here scroll down and look for the option Units. Its possible if the first time is not working, I recommend to close the app of running in the background. In some device the running apps appear when you hold the home button, and swipe away the app to close it.
