Confused about activity logging/ calories burned

I do 30 minutes (400 burn cals)  of aerobics and 20 minutes (211) of yoga. Burn rates are according to other calculators. I log these activities with the burn cals included. Am I not suppose to add these? My confusion is I think in a way I'm cheating myself by giving an extra 611 burn cals that fitbit counted already during my workout.

I would use the Exercise mode on these and select workout for aerobic and yoga for yoga.

You can update your exercises to display on your dashboard. Click on the gear then click on the device and scroll down to exercise shortcuts and update them. Will need to sync  before it takes place.

Then select them on the surge when you start the exercise

Might want to read the manual and it can help you understand what is available to you.
