This will be basically a feature you might want to use to keep track of something specifically. Let's say that you have a high blood pressure condition and you should not exceed certain intensity, might want to put that as a custom heart rate zone for you to be aware of not going any further than that. Or let's say you just want to make sure you get an intense training; you might want to set a custom heart rate zone to make sure you don't go below a certain intensity to burn more calories and have an effective workout. All this based on information you get from your doctor or any other external source. Fitbit will not give you an estimate for this but will give you the tools to keep track of it.
