Deleting text notifications after they are read

You need to have the option to delete a text notification from the surge without having to turn it off. I keep thinking I have a new message but I already ready it.

right, the shortcut icon should be displayed on new message, surge should has a sub menu to enter the message function where user can read all the message stored.

 My understanding and experience with the latesr firmware is that at midnight the text messages are automatically cleared on the Surge.

Hey there @Kristenb and @ucol! If your still seeing your messages on your Surge, you can delete them by performing a restart. Usually it takes 24 hours to be removed. Thank you for your participation @Rich_Laue.
