I had a Surge for over a year and a half and I have a Blaze for over a week. All my data is setup correctly in my profile. I noticed a difference of 250-350 calories per day between Surge and Blaze. While Surge shows me approximately 2000 calories in a working day in which I managed to go to the gym, the Blaze would show much less (between 250 and 350 less). The difference seems to be in all calories burned outside the workout time. Did anyone else experience this? Is anything I can do to tune the algorithm to a realistic count? I cannot help to wonder which count is corect? My aim is to burn 2000 calories per day so a difference of 300 calories matters. Thank you!

one organization tested fit devices in USA.
all surestimate calorie consumptions from 27% to 96% .
the fitbit device was 27%
so, was a Surge, or a Blaze, or anything else ?

One Sunday I decided to wear both my Surge and my Blaze on the same hand for the full day. As I assumed it would happen, Surge showed a bigger number of calories on that particular day. That Sunday I went for a 20 km bike ride and did chores around the house and Surge showed 250 more calories than Blaze. At a certain point also the number of steps was significantly different (higher on Surge), but after the bike ride they were almost the same, not sure it wasn't a fake count though. So it is not just a feeling anymore, it is a fact, Surge shows between 250 and 300 more calories burnt in a day than the Blaze.
