Is there an automatic brightness sensor on the device?

Thanks for stopping by guys @Lockman and @SunsetRunner! @Lockman have you check the settings on your Surge to see if the "Backlight" is turn on or off? ![]()
Just like @SteveH said at the moment there is no option to change the brightness or an automatic brightness sensor on the Fitbit Surge. Though, I think it'd be great to have this option. Why don't you take a moment to review this requests, I found some options in our Feature Suggestions board that you might like:
-Surge white background & black text display
-Offer Surge Display in two modes
Add your votes and comments there. This board is constantly being reviewed by our devs to make sure we are delivering on what our customers need. Fitbit is always striving to improve! ![]()

Thanks for taking a break from stepping @User9, and welcome to the Forums! Congratulations on your new Surge, as I mentioned above you can check to turn on the "Backlight" on your Surge, in case that you haven't do so. Fitbit Charge 2 screen is different from the Surge so I it might be a little bit more brighter than the Surge. ![]()
