Does the Surge have an amp limit for charging?

I have a new AC-to-USB block that puts out 2.5 amps, but I don't want to burn out my Surge.  (Happened once to a battery block that I was charging.)

You should be fine. The tracker will only draw as much current as it needs to charge.
