Dried up Condensation on my Surge Screen

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had an issue with my Surge for a couple of months, but not had the time to return the device back to the store it was purchased from until today.

After a Boxing Class there was condensation from sweat on the screen, I found it impossible to scroll through the screens. When it dried I could barely see the screen & having difficulty scrolling still.

The store rang a Fitbit rep & they advised the device probably has a housing defect, but due to the fact it was 14 months old, they wouldn't replace the device.

I find this to be unacceptable for the purchase price paid and the intended use - has anyone got any advice on how I can get this situation resolved??

Thanks in advance.

When it happened you should of put it in rice for a few days to let it dry out.

The warranty is here which only last for 1 year in the US Longer overseas

My husbands did the exact same thing. Not happy with the surge at all.

Call fitbit. Same thing happened to me. I was 14 months out also. I was asked to take a picture and send it to them. They made an exception and are sending me a replacement.

I believe I have a similar problem but my screen has gone completely blank just 20 days after the 1 year. I have emailed them and wait to see what they say.

They won’t do anything except offer a 25% discount on your next order.
