Edit logged exercise

I would like to be able to edit an activity on the PC dashboard after it is logged.  I am able to change the name from "Exercise" to "Kayaking"; however it won't let me delete steps and insert miles paddled.  Having a record of steps recorded when I have paddled 3 miles does not make sense. (I can't walk on water)

I have to delete that activity and manually enter the data; however doing that loses heart rate data.

Is there any way to do this?  Have I just missed something?

Welcome to our Community @Fernkiller. Note that you are not missing anything. Unfortunately this is not possible and the only workaround for this is manually logging this activity as you already do. Although this feature is quite popular in our Feature request board. I know this is not a solution, but I invite you to leave your comments and add your vote on this idea if is of your interest. If it is, you can go here:
Have the Ability To Edit Exercises.

Our product team looks forward to reading and incorporating your suggestions into future versions of Fitbit trackers and apps.

Hope to see you around again. Wish you the best!
