I have been seeing a series of threads complaining about the fact that there is no way to edit the "most logged" and "recent" food entires lists, both for Android and iPhone apps and dashboard. This is the most frustrating aspect of using the Surge, period, not only to track foods: my recent list occassionally updates (if I sync); my most logged list hasn't changed for months, and has foods on it I ate in the summer and haven't eaten since while things I now eat EVERY DAY for weeks never show up. I see there are comments in various fora going back to 2015 complaining of this disfunctionality. When is Fitbit going to fix this? I want ability to edit my "most logged" and "recent" foods! Fitbit team, fix this!!! Or maybe when this Surge needs replacing I'll get a Garmin and a functional food logging app ... it is THAT annoying. Apologies now, if I've missed something and there is some workaround or process to do this at this point. Please let me know. If not FIX IT!

Thanks for jumping in! It's great to see you here @Maun-ster! There is actually no option to delete the most logged nor the recent logged food, however, you can edit and remove your favorite logged food from the Food list here
We did had a couple of suggestions related editing "most logged" and "recent: entries for the Fitbit Dashboard back on 2015 as you said but it hasn't being implemented, why don't you take a moment to visit our Feature Suggestions board and place your vote in this page to request this option. This board is constantly being reviewed by our devs to make sure we are delivering on what our customers need. Fitbit is always striving to improve!
As a suggestion you can try to use a Third Partly App that works with Fitbit. You can link your account to MyFitnessPal account as they have a really good data base that a lot of people around the world have helped to gather. You will log the information (barcode scanner, single serving tracker, editable calories and recipe builder) from MFP and it will appear in your MyFitnessPal log. If you want to read more about this option take a moment to see this post from @AndrewFitbit and this article about that option on MFP.
Hope you’re having a great day!
