Fit bit surge app update has caused original fitbit app to disappear.

Last week I downloaded an update to my fitbit and the next day it was replaced by a new fitbit app with no data from old fitbit app.Tried to resign up to new fitbit app but my email was still linked to the old fitbit app.

Went to Apple for help today but no joy.

Please help.

What did you update? The iOS app, the iOS itself or the tracker firmware? Did you try signing out and back in in the app with your old username and password?

Hi,

Received fitbit ISOS update via settings. -I have fitbit app on my IPhone  -I regularly do the updates (ISO) never a problem till now.

On this occasion the Fitbit app was replaced by another fitbit app requesting me to apply.

The only problem was my email address was already registered hence I couldn't rejoin unless I used another email address.I don't want to loose 3 years fitbit data!

My wife has had the same problem.
