I received my Fitbit Surge as a gift for Christmas and it hasn't wven been 5 months and the band has started to rip from where the screws hold it in place. What can I do about this?

If you email fitbit support, they will replace it.  I've had to do this myself, and my friend has 2x.

I've had two fall apart, and one with a faulty batter.  Love the tech, the service support is awesome, but I hate having to constantly replace the watch.  They are essentially disposable.  This one lasted 8 months.

I recommend that you buy something other than the Fitbit Surge.  Mine is 1.5 years old and the band is ripped and a pin in the charge cable is missing, so charging is hit and miss.  Their solution to my $250 problem is to offer a 25% coupon on a new product.
