My surge has started to split where the 2 screws are supporting the device and i was wondering on how I can fix it thanks also under warranty purchsed in Dec 2015

In this case, @SunsetRunner's advice is the way to go. Doing a DIY repair on your Surge, will void your tracker's warranty; so it's best to let our Customer Service team know about this and I'm sure they'll be glad to assist you. Take a good, clear photo of your tracker and have it ready to show it to them.
