Fitbit band splitting

Hi

The strap on my fitbit Surge split just after 13 months and have been informed that it is no longer covered by the warrenty (confirmed by the reatiler here in Dubai) and that the strap can not be replaced.

I see it is a very common issue. I am very hesitant to replace the whole device - as it is a big cost for something that will only have a life of one year.

Unfortunately the new Blaze does not have GPS built in, so would have to take my iphone with me everytime I want to go for a run - so I will look for another brand

Regards

Duncan

The newest trackers, Fitbit Blaze, Alta, Flex 2, Charge 2 have exchangeable bands. Personally always have the phone with me just in case (if needing to make a important call or getting a important call), also in case of getting injured, needing to call road assistance, or if needing to call a ambulance (personally) or for others (hopefully not), just in case, it can save someone's life if no one else is around to help.

There's no other Fitbit tracker yet which have GPS build in and having exchangeable bands.. it's up to fitbit when that will be.. Cat Embarassed

The more votes increases the chance of the developers integrate the functionality.

A warm welcome to the Community @DuncanM. As mentioned, we have different trackers that you can look and select the one you prefer. I recommend checking our page where you will be able to see all of those trackers and see which one is better for you.
