I am unable to wear a watch when I work for 2 days a week I am wondering if I can put my surge anywhere else on my body so I don't lose 2 days of data

People have worn on there ankle. Put it in their pocket.
It just will not be accurate. But do what you have to!

Thanks for joining us @Murphyjayne! Just like @WendyB said using it on your pocket is a good option. Since your tracker uses a pedometer to sense when you're moving, it will detect your steps. You can adjust the sensitivity to have a better reading. On your Fitbit Dashboard online go to Settings > Tan on Surge.
Hope this works for you, good luck!
