I am experiencing this said problem, surge strap breaking at the screws.

My Surge is breaking at the screws and was bought in September 15, 2015. What can be done.

The only good news is, well at least I was not required to send in my old Surge, so I am wearing it till it actually falls off my wrist then I will start my replacement!  At the rate I am going I should make at the very least 18 months between the two Surges.  Not bad for what a $250 fitness tracker!  Man Sad  

 

I personally expected two years plus, but oh well, what can one do when FitBit refueses to change, yet keep selling the same bad,band, product

Seems is enough people have a bad product people would buy the competitors.
