For the past few days, my fitbit surge has receorded way too many calories that I am burning. The surge shows ~4000 (which is accurate on a day I go for a long run) but the dashboard and iphone app show 10,000-20,000. Once I open the iphone fitbit app and sync with my surge...the surge updates to this rediculously high value too. I do have my account linked to myfitnesspal (which I never use) and Strava (which I only use to review...not record...runs unless my fitbit is left at home). This gross overestimation of calories has bee occuring daily. Ahy help?

...and suddenly...after fiddling with the account a little...everything went back to normal calorie counts (including prior days). I have no idea what changed.
