Why, having reached just 1500 calories, is my bar graph in red? Yes my aim is to lose weight but 1500 calories?? How is that too many??

Hi, @Philomena, it may be that, according to the Fitbit program, you reached 1500 calories too early in the day.  The program "allocates" calories throughout the day, so, for example, if you log a very large breakfast (because you are planning to eat very little the rest of the day) you could find yourself in the red with only, say 700 calories.

Ordinarily you should find yourself back in the green as the day goes on.

Someone has created a really excellent explanation of the Fitbit Food Plan here.  I found it really helpful.  Maybe you will too.

Actually my log often goes red at the end of the day when I have only
consumed 1500 - 1600 calories 😞 Yes, I have noticed that if it goes red
earlier in the day it can change back to green, particularly if I walk for
an hour and reach cardio for, say, 50 minutes.

I shall check the food plan. Thanks for the suggestion.
