It has happened many times that when we go away for the weekend that the Surge doesn't want to Sync via Bluetooth with a Windows 10 laptop when we get home. We've somehow managed to get it resynced in the past (standing on our heads, turning things on and off, flicking the bedroom lights on and off, etc) but never knew exactly which of the magic tricks we did actually got things working again. This weekend nothing is working. I've re-paired with Windows and that process is successful (so Bluetooth is working at both ends). But Fitbit Dashboard still can't find the Surge. It syncs when connected via USB cable, but that's going to be a pain if it's the only long-term solution. Help please.

Make sure nothing else your surge is paired with is on while trying to sync to your laptop, and turn off your laptops built-in Bluetooth, and use the wireless Bluetooth Fitbit dongle that came with your surge.... it seems to work much better for syncing.
