Green light stays on and doesn't flash and drains battery

I've had my surge for a year and I've never had any problems with it before yesterday. I charged my surge yesterday morning to full battery and by the end of the day I was getting a low battery signal, when usually at full power I can go a few days between charging it. When I plugged it in this morning I noticed that the green heart rate light was still on even though the watch was dead, but the light wasn't flashing like it normally does. I tried charging it, but even then the light remained on and didn't go back to it's usual flashing. I was able to charge it about halfway before my run which is usually plenty of battery to use my gps, but it died halfway through the run and the green light was still on despite the rest of the watch being dead again. But the heart rate function seemed to be working fine before it died. Even now it's charging again and the green light is still in and not flashing.

Has anyone seen this before or know a fix for it?

Sounds like your Surge needs a restart. Here's how:

Give it a few tries as it doesn't always work first time.

Have exactly the same problem myself which started a day or two ago.  Green light on front constantly on and battery draining within 24 hours.  I have checked all setting (have no notifications, HR set to auto, backlight set to Auto, Bluetooth off) and done a restart of the watch with exactly the same outcome.

I have the same issue. I've gone through the menu options and set it to auto then off on my phone and on the watch.

ive restarted the watch three times and each time it starts with the green light solid.

Problems....

I'm having the same exact issue. Did you find a solution?

No. Never got an answer or resolution to this. Now sitting on a shelf gathering dust. Have another surge where the battery only lasts one day and the strap is bubbling.
For the price, the surge is extremely poorly designed and made. It could have. Even a good product but too many issues. Will probably buy an Apple Watch next as a replacement.
