Have to recharge fitbit frequently now

Hi everyone,

I have a surge fitbit watch which I bought in 2016 but I only to started to seriously use it from the start of 2018.

When I first got it I did not need to recharge the watch for days (maybe around 7 days?) but now I need to recharge it around every 12 hours. Was just wondering whether anybody here has had similar issues/experiences with their fitbit watch after using it for awhile? Did you have to get a new fitbit?

Thanks,

Voltman

They dont last forever.

Also when you werent using it i assume you didnt charge it. These batteries will drain when not charged.

You can try these steps and see if it helps

Please clean the contacts

Then  Do a Restart

Also See this thread for  charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery
