Hear rate and mileage inaccurate when exercising

A couple of questions I would love someone to help me with. I have the Surge now having upgraded from my old flex. I LOVE it but do have a couple of issues. My exercise is walking, from full on as fast as my legs can physically walk to much more moderate pace. Walking between 5-10 miles 5/6 times a week.
However firstly when I track my route on map my walk Fitbit, its out by around 1 mile?
Secondly and much more annoying my heart rate is all over the place, it can read 160+ when I'm not panting or puffing at all and then like on today's 5 miles it's registered 8 mins of fat burn on a full on fast pace walk where I did the 5 miles in 1hr 5 mins and was sweating a lot and puffing, it said I had resting heart rate for the remaining 57 minutes!!!
That's so not right, can anyone help me with this?? Iv read and searched a lot of past posts in the forums but haven't found an answer,

Have you adjusted the tightness and position of the tracker on your wrist?  When I first got my Surge last year I noticed some interesting inconsistencies during my runs and was able to cure them by notching down my band a notch or two, and, contrary to the "How to" guide, slide it up toward (but not on) my wrist.

A comment regarding today's walk; are you sure you walked 5 miles in 65 minutes?  I ask because there are quite a few relatively novice runners out there who cannot run that distance that quickly.

Thank you shipo for your reply. Yes, I have tried tighter, looser, further up and down my wrist but it doesn't seem to cure it... It's very strange...
I understand your comment on my wallking and many people who know me laugh at me when I'm out and say I look like a woman possessed!, I do walk incredibly fast on some days and others a much slower pace to mix it up. I have on occasions walked past joggers. Today I pushed it harder than ever today as I had limited time but wanted to get at least 5 miles in. I sometimes don't believe it too so have done live gpr route tracking and other apps to test and double check my distances and times. Today I was using my Fitbit and mapmywalk and it said 1hr 5mins on my stop watch and Fitbit said 1hr 6 mins... Thanks again for replying. Any other ideas I could try and very welcome
