My Surge works fine and the heart rate is fairly accurate ..... until I wear a jacket whilst walking. The lightweight jacket has elasticated cuffs and it would appear that this throws the heart rate in to a flutter. During my walks readings of 160, 170 and 180 are registered but there is no way that I reach these numbers. Under normal circumstances a reading of 120/130 max would be normal, but these other numbers are just ridiculous.
Even when I turn the cuff back so it is not touching the watch, I still get these strange readings.
WHY ?
