@Ledbetter Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Try to perform a restart on your Surge. Also, make sure you are not using the tracker too tight on your wrist as that may affect the readings. Using the tracker a bit higher on your wrist (two fingers from your wrist bone) is also recommended. Feel free to check the Heart Rate FAQs for more details.
