Heart rate inaccurate in peak zone

The heart rate in my surge is inaccurate, mostly when my heart rate is in the peak zone. When recently training I manually measured my heart rate @ 185 bpm & my surge showed a max heart rate of 149 bom. This happens when ever I get my heart rate over around 140 bpm.

Hey hey @Kabes1 it's great to see you around! The heart rate accuracy in Fitbit Surge is affected by personal physiology, location of wear and type of movement. I recommend testing different placement of the tracker on your wrist  (aprox. 3 fingers from your wrist bone) specially when you are exercising. Please see the image below for reference.

You can find more detailed info about this at our Heart Rate FAQs.

Let me know how it goes! Enjoy your 2016! Woman Wink
