How can I accept your firmware update and maintain my original dashboard?

My Surge will not sync as of today. It appears can't sync without downloading a firmware update which will also install the new (crappier) dashboard.

Not only do I hate the stupid appearance and layout, I won't run flash on this phone. Don't even talk about "customizing" the layout. I can't make it look as it does now, I can only rearrange the stupid tiles that don't show me everything I want to see without scrolling, so it's of no use to me.

Not a happy girl.

@Pharmercist, what makes you think the Surge firmware download is in any way linked to the dashboard running on your phone?

I only use a phone so I just assumed it would all update at the same time.
Like Sprint does.

Nope the app will ONLY update if you choose to update it, or you have automatic updates turned on in your play store settings (which it sounds like you don't) 😉
