During my daily exercice I use my surge, as well as when I am at home ir during weekend. But don't use ti wille I'm at work. Although I always carry my phone with me.
It's possible to use both ways (surge when I'm wearing it, and phone) in order to count the steps during all day long?
What hapen is that when I take off the surge, the steps counter stops the rest of the day. I suppose that, automatically if the application doesn't find the surge, and during that period, will record the data recorded from the phone. Does it make sense? And is that possible?

Ok, let's wrap all of this, what I'm about to write, in "In theory" brackets. It work well 99% of the time.
You can enable the Mobile Tracker in your phone to track steps in case you either don't have a Fitbit device or don't want to carry one at that specific moment. When you get back to your device, Fitbit should sync the steps to the device and when both the device and your phone show the same number of steps, you're ready to go.
As long as the device and your phone are at reach of one another, it'll the be device to be the official source for the number of steps, floors (etc) taken. It's only if suddenly your phone realises that the device is out of reach and your mobile counted steps since the last sync that the steps of the phone will be taken. So, short good practice to avoid issues, make sure your phone and device are synched every time you either are about to wear the device or stop wearing it and you should be good to go.
