How do I reformat a Surge to factory settings for a new user

how do you reformat a surge to factory settings
I've seen two options

A) plug it in to charge it, pin hole

B) Home/Left button till it dims, wait 10 seconds, home button

neither of these work

Thats a restart you are doing.

 

There is no way to factory reset it. If you are wanting to to give it away or sell it. It will reset itself when its set up by someone else.

 

Just make sure to sync it before turning it over as it has happened where that person got your badges
