Hi @bruce579! It's a pleasure to welcome you to the Forums. Heart

If you're wondering how to get the Bike option from the Fitbit App,  you will see the option to edit your Surge shortcuts by doing the following from the your phone or Windows 10 PC:

  1. Tap on Account (upper right corner)
  2. Tap on your Surge
  3. Choose the option "Exercise Shortcuts"
  4. Tap on "Edit" so you can add "Bike" (click here to see the steps, this is for the Charge 2 but the options are pretty similar.)

Once you've synced your Fitbit you can swipe the display until you get the option "Bike". Is this the option you were looking for?

Remember that your Surge will use the HR information to determine the effort you're doing while performing the activity.
