I know the Honor 5X is not on the device compatibility list, but it syncs fine and the only issue is not getting calls or text messages. You would think this would be an easy fix. Are there any plans to update the software on the surge to fix these issues? You would think an android would be easy to map to, and it is August 2017, are you guys really working on adding additional phones? Please work on this, it's not that easy to just buy another phone. Having said that I love the Fitbit Surge, you guys have an awesome platform. Please don't allow competitors to take your customers by offering something you are more than capable of providing.

It's not an issue with the Surge, rather the Android app. Almost every phone manufacturer puts their own "skin" over the stock Android OS. Sometimes these interfere with some of the Fitbit app functions. I am presently using a Blaze with the new LG G6 with no issues even though it is not listed as compatible. LG puts a minimal skin on their phone so that is probably why. When you enable notifications in the app and your tracker syncs, do you see it listed in your phones bluetooth settings as connected?

It does not show up on my phone Bluetooth connected devices. I understand what you are saying about the phone's software, but I have no problem with other smart watches and getting calls and text notifications.
