I think my Surge is Counting Floors when it shouldn't

I coach swim team, and one stroke we work on a lot is back stroke.  I've noticed that when I leave a practice, my Surge is saying I've climbed 10+ flights of stairs (my actual daily average is around 5 or 6).  I think when I'm demonstrating back stroke while I'm on the deck, my surge is accidentally counting floors.  Any way to reduce the sensitivity so that doesn't happen?

Hey hey hey @gingie1987 welcome to the Fitbit Community! It is nice to have you here 🙂 Oh that's nice! Swim team coach, I love swimming ! Yes maybe the movement is registered as floors. Unfortunately there's no way to reduce the sensitivity of your tracker since the floors are counted thanks to an altimeter. For the moment you can delete those floors (it would delete steps as well) logging a "Driving" activity.
1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard.
2. At the top of the screen click Log > Activity.
3. Find the data you want to negate by selecting a date range.
4. In the activity menu, type in "Driving" and enter the duration and start time.
5. Click Log Activity. Your steps, floors, and calories burned will decrease for the time period you specified.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Have a wonderful day! Cat Wink
