Hello,
I have read most of the toppics of inaccurate stepcounting but i still want to ask my question.
Is it normal that when i am driving my car the surge counts steps. Sometimes when i turning the wheel i get 2 or 5 and some times no steps. Its very random. Sometimes when i move with my hand like putting a shirt on ore somting else i get step counts. So for me the stepcounting is very random and for now not accurate at all.
I have the surge on my non dominated hand and i have switched between dominated and non-dominated but with no possitive result. I assume that there is a job to do here for the programmers

@Benitek Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It is known that the tracker may count steps while driving. That is because of the swift and brisk movements we do while driving or putting a shirt on. Don't worry, there are solutions for this. The first one is to delete those extra steps by logging an activity as "driving". The second one is to download the DriveBit app. This app will prevent those steps from being counted.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes!

Hello,
Thanks for the respond.
What i find strange is the fact my wife has a charge HR for a couple of months and she doesn't have this problem at all.
The stepcounting from the charge HR works very wel. I would think that this would be the same for all the systems of Fitbit beside the systems wich may have some kiind of a problem.
I will test the drivebit application but I find it diapointing that it works wel with some units and with others not.
