Incorrect Calories

Hi Guys,

Currently having an issue with my calories burned. It is definitely way too high for this time of day and the amount of steps ive taken.

It currently sits at 2169 calories burned, with a total of 628 steps. Normally i only burn 3000ish a day (extra when i go to the gym), so it definitely is odd.

i have tried resetting, updating the app etc, but stays the same. i assume that it will fix itself at midnight?

Thanks

Awesome troubleshooting

There's a setting on the food log page (computer / fitbit.com / account) which can be changed to increase the accuracy.

Change setting on Food Log Page

On the Food Log page, standard a setting is used to base the calories allowed on personal history, when being more or less active the calories can increase or decrease alot.

Change to sedentary when desired to increase the accuracy, when being more active, the calories to eat will increase.
