Is the fitbit Surge supposed to work in the rain?

Mine just gave up about 2 miles in today and did something really weird with the run overall.

The above said, I run with my Surge in the rain all of the time.  The only issues I've noticed is a little clouding on the screen upon occasion, and a little lower accuracy for the GPS mode (also noticed on really cloudy days).

I got caught in bad rain on holiday in New York last week.  Surge is still fogged up now & touchscreen no longer works.  Contacted support via web chat, uploaded them a photo & receipt & they're sending me a new one out without needing this one back.  Really happy with the support but won't be confident wearing it in the rain again

I forgot I had mine on and jumped into the pool and had no issue what's so ever with it. Sounds like you had a faulty watch.

It's great to see you around @JamesAdams@shipo@JB1970 and @Kirstiede thanks for stopping by and the information provided. Woman Happy All Fitbit trackers are water resistant, which means they are rain proof and splash proof and can stand up to even the sweatiest workout. But if yours got wet, I recommend placing it in a bowl of rice for 24-48 hours and then restart it by following @MeylinP's instructions.

See you around! Woman Wink
