Three of the four corners are worn through. The back of the band is spliting at the screws and the charger will not stay connected unless I wedge it between two objects to hold it in. I have had the Surge just over a year. For $250 this is pretty badly made. I love Fitbit and have had one of their trackers for four years but I'm prolly gonna look elsewhere.

@StLBoss, unfortunately, this does appear to be quite normal. There are several threads in this forum discussing this and I personally know 3 people that have the same issue with a failing band. Fitbit won't do anything for you if you are out of warranty except offer 25% off on the purchase of another tracker.

yup. same thing is happening to mine at 15 months. FitBit told me that there is "no gaurantee as to the product's life"...
they offered me 25% off, same as the Father's Day deal anyone can get right now. Thanks for nothing.
$250 for 15 months. Looks like garbage now. Fitbit should be ashamed.
