Last firmware update for Surge was 1 year ago. Does it worth wait for firmware updates in 2016?

Unfortunately fitbit do not tend to announce changes in advance so your guess is as good as mine.

What changes are you hoping for?

I expected to get fix for randomaly battery drain - sometimes for some reason I need to charge after 3 days instead of 5-6 days with same usage.

Well well, in the list for Surge firmware updates, there is NO DATE on each update, I can only guess that they don't want us to know, so that we don't blame them with wishes for new updates. Most of the time people asks for the last update date, people are just getting a link to the list...... without any dates on.

My feeling is that they don't care. If you have a date on every firmware update (as most company's have) that shows the users how much effort they put in the product, as I see it.

@vadimc68 @rip59 I hope you're doing well! As @SteveH said, Fitbit will not announce any firmware updates in advance. However, this is not impossible, I mean it may happen, but we need to wait until they announce it.

In the meantime, I recommend posting any ideas or suggestions you may like to see on the Surge in the future in the Feature Suggestions Board. This is the best place to ask for any updates!

See you around! Smiley Happy
