Let's Get Started Stuck On Screen

I just bought a FitBit today and watched a tutorial on how to turn it on, I did all the instructions and it's still stuck on "Let's Get Started" Screen.

I own a samsung galaxy s3 which is powered by google play, I got the app on there and it won't turn on my FitBit ... also downloaded the thingy for my laptop as well on windows 8.1 and I have no idea how to do it...

@CierraKFromme welcoke to the Fitbit family. Lets first forget about the laptop and use the phone.

Lets start up the Fitbit App on the phone. Press the hamburger menu in the top left, then devices. Look at the top right and press the "Plus Sign". Now follow directions.

Choose your Fitbit.

Confirm the code displayed on the Fitbit, and you should he good.

You might be asked to upgrade the tracker firmware. If it does, please go into the phone settings and set the screen timeout to maximum.

If the update fails, just start it over.

If problems continue please let us know at what step it fails.

I suggest doing it on the phone only because i too am an Android user, and not familiar with Fitbit Connect, but for Windows instructions

Is it tge Surge that says "Lets get Stsrted" or the App. If it is the Surge then it is allready on.
