How can to sync my Surge to computer when I lost the dongle?

In the lastest version, It always asks me to plug the dongle to conect the Surge. But I lost my dongle, I just have the cable.

I tried to conect my Surge by cable but I always ask to plug the Dongle, it said: Not found the device.

Help me, please!

p/s: I don't use smart phone because it takes me a lot of time.

Do you have a compatible mobile device (phone, tablet...) that you could use to sync your Surge? The last list of compatible devices can be found at www.fitbit.com/devices

If not then you could buy a replacement dongle from the fitbit online store (depending on where you live). There is a link to the store at the top of this page.

But I don't use smart phone and tablet.

And my Surge blutooth was damage too, example It restart when I double press left button, it restart when I press Blutooth On to Blutooth PAIR...

Despair!

I think Fitbit need to upgrade the app to fix this problem

I don't understand what fitbit can do to the app if the problem is that you have lost the dongle!?

As @SteveH has mentioned, you can sync via a compatible smartphone if you have one while you are looking for your Dongle, or borrow a friend's Dongle, since any Fitbit dongle will sync any Fitbit.

If you lost yours you can purchase a new one by going at our Fitbit Store. The reason why your cable is not syncing is due to it's the charging cable and it doesn't have the Bluetooth as the Dongle does.

Some computers that can communicate with the tracker over Bluetooth also don't need the dongle. However, because a computer's Bluetooth signal can occasionally be weak or problematic, it's a good idea to keep the dongle nearby even if you usually sync without it.

The Bluetooth-equipped computers that don't generally require a dongle are:

  • Macs with Fitbit Connect software installed
  • Windows 10 PCs with the Fitbit app for Windows 10 installed

Hope this helps!
