Makeshift Bands for the Surge? Please advise...

i know that there are loads of threads re. broken Surge bands and how they're not replaceable, but i can't find anything from people who've given a makeshift band a go so i was wondering if anyone has?

the rubber band on my surge is coming off by the screen but that isn't the problem - i'm a bit funny with things around my writs that aren't breathable and at the moment i can only wear my fitbit for a few hours at a time. i need a narrower band made of a different material to stop me feeling nauseous. i was thinking about taking it apart and seeing how feasible it would be to make a makeshift band from ribbon or an old watch strap. any ideas?

I'm glad to see you here in the Forums @dilwatson, your comments are very important for us! Cat Happy

Welcome! I'm glad to know that you're willing to do a lot of changes to your band in order to wear it, you must be a Fitbit lover! We don't advise to exchange the band of the Fitbit Surge for the same reason you already know; this tracker doesn't have that feature. Though, if you really like Fitbit product you might be willing to try a different tracker, Fitbit Alta HR has a a thinner band for example with exchangeable bands; or Fitbit Flex 2 that has the option to be used in a pendant or bangle.

You can compare the tracker features to see if the you like has all the features you want. Remember always to follow the Wear and Care tips to take care of your health. Now about your Fitbit Surge, please, keep an eye on your email inbox, since I've gotten in touch with our Support team so they can check with you the options that are available for this specific issue depending on your Fitbit warranty.

I'll be around! Smiley Happy
