I have Microsoft Band 2. It is better than Fitbit Surge. You can customize the screen and others features from the phone or windows 10. The only problem,
Microsoft Band 2 only sell in US, Canada, and Australia.

Garmin vivosmart hr better than Fitbit Surge and cheaper too. All notification can do using garmin vivosmart hr.
