Moisture/breaking band/not holding a charge

I've had my Fitbit for less than a year, it was purchased in August 2015. I noticed the band cracking and tearing after only a few months of wearing the device. A few months ago it stopped holding its charge for more than a couple of days and now it requires me to charge it daily. Now my surge has moisture in it and doesn't seem to be drying out and won't scroll over to my steps or any other screen option. It seems a little too soon to be having this many problems with a device that's less than a year old, but any tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
