I noticed that the Fitbit Alta was going to have a feature to notify you to move. Can we get this for the Surge too? Shouldn't be too difficult.

Hi, @CoD! : ) It's nice to see you around. I agree with you this would be a very useful feature, please post this great idea on our Feature suggestion board, this way our product developers will take a look at it and may include it in the near future.

Thanks for sharing your ideas and post the link here once you have post it, this way I can vote for it! 😉

No clue what Fitbit has up their sleeves regarding updates to previous trackers..

Feel free to add your suggestions to the 'Feature Requests' Sub Forum, where users can vote, add comments,.. if there's a certain interest then there's a chance the developers pick it up and it'll be developed.

Tip: Search if the idea already has been suggested and add your vote / comment! Smiley Wink

@CoD

Merged your other thread regarding the same topic with this thread, things may look a bit odd.

SolangeFitbit,

Many of Fitbit customers request this feature 3 years ago on this thread :

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Requests/Idle-Alert/idi-p/811

But your team come back with "Implemented on fitbit alta". Your team must be misunderstand our request. And now you come back and ask us to request it again? I suggest your team should re-read that thread. And please implement it on all your current sale device.

Thank you,

Sarawuth

Remember, the board is only for Requests. Clearly, Fitbit are at liberty to do whatever they want with the requests they receive. In this case they have gone ahead with this on one (and maybe two) trackers but, while users may want it, there is no compulsion for the company to add it to any others.

Rightly or wrongly, this is the way Fitbit have interpreted the request so, in order to change that assessment, another feature request is probably the quickest way to go.
